Facilitator

A facilitator creates an environment where groups can be more productive and effective in reaching their goals. A facilitator manages the meeting. Not the content. To facilitate means ‘to make easy’, and that is exactly my role.

Clear and specific objectives are the starting point of any session. Have a look at some of the questions of my clients. Sessions need to be productive. This asks for engaging, effective and simple methods that fit the type of participant. The proof of the pudding is wether results will be implemented and behavior will change. I can advise on this, and use easy-to-produce flip-films for communication. For more proof & pudding, read about some of the sessions I’ve been leading of have a look at my specs.

One more thing: I have a strong belief in facilitation as a tool to achieve sound and high-quality results…..

Group facilitation is about taking part.
Every group member in his or her own way, using each talent, the positive and the negative signals, the hopes and the concerns, the opinions and the feelings, in a safe and stimulating environment. Together.
I like problems.
Supporting your team to get to the root. To dig deeper. To feel the impact of this problem. Untangling the mess. Discovering new perspectives. Beginning to see the light
I enjoy the differences.
Not about solving them and finding a boring go-between. It is experiencing that differences can be productive. They’re the key to innovation. I believe we can all get what we need.
And in the end, it’s all about results.
Better decisions, smarter plans, exciting ideas, action plans, shared responsibility, you smiling.

For me group facilitation is about learning. About opening up. Working in flow together. Getting things done. Finally saying what you need. What you think.

It just works.
